Akari Ogiwara, once a celebrated art prodigy, now works in obscurity as a teacher at an art school. After rescuing a young man from a suicide attempt by the ocean, she meets someone whose painting skills impress her deeply. Despite knowing little about him, including his name or age, she is drawn to his talent. He offers her a proposition: the opportunity to gain fame and wealth through his artwork, presented under her name. Lured by the promise of long-sought recognition, Akari accepts, allowing him to use her identity to sell his paintings as her own.
