Uso Kara Deta Makoto

A boy named Kensuke Niikura lies to his classmates in third grade by claiming to have a girlfriend named Makoto. He continues this fiction for four years, even after starting junior high. In his second year of junior high, a girl who actually calls herself Makoto appears before him. The story explores the consequences of his deception as he navigates the line between fantasy and reality.
