Yami no Moribito

This manga is based on the second novel in the Moribito series, following a standalone story separate from the first book, "Seirei no Moribito." After the events of the first story, Balsa returns to her hometown of Kanbal to reconnect with Jiguro, the man who raised her. She discovers that he has been accused of the king's murder and becomes determined to prove his innocence. In the process, she uncovers secrets about the hidden aspects of Kanbal.
