After a major conflict between humans and demons ends, a magical device called the Gear is used to establish the Hero Institute, a school designed to train a new generation of heroes. A bold and impulsive demon girl named Ruchika arrives in the city with the goal of enrolling. There, she meets Leonie, a focused and disciplined girl who is the daughter of the legendary hero who vanquished the Demon Lord. Ruchika instantly takes an interest in Leonie and makes a direct move during their entrance exam. The story explores whether the two possess the qualities needed to become heroes and if a relationship can develop between a human and a demon.
