Their style of music centres around dance music, mainly focusing on “pop” and “crazy.” However, they use lots of inspiration from genres such as rap, hip-hop and electro-swing. On April 1st, 2017, the group announced an official hiatus in order to focus on their respective careers, yet still did occasional collaborations outside of FAKE TYPE during this period. As of September 30th, 2020, the group has returned from hiatus and continued group activity.
