He is a Japanese mangaka and illustrator. He graduated from the private Hongo High School in design department, and then graduated from Kuwasawa Design School. Kentarou Takekuma is his friend. He made his debut in 1979 with "Itsumo no asa ni", for which he got honorable mention in 18th Tezuka Award.
