Ai no Kusabi (2012)

A distant planet called Amoi is governed by an advanced artificial intelligence known as Jupiter. The human population is predominantly male, with a hierarchy that permits the light-haired upper class to briefly own dark-haired individuals referred to as "mongrels." Iason, a member of this elite group, discovers a mongrel named Riki in the impoverished areas and brings him home. Iason retains Riki beyond the accepted social norms, leading to speculation about the nature of their connection.
