Anime Sanjuushi: Aramis no Bouken

Aramis meets Francois, who helps her after she falls from her horse, and they quickly develop feelings for each other. After Francois is killed by Manson and the Ironmask's forces, Aramis vows revenge and moves to Paris to become a musketeer. A year later, D'Artagnan, along with the other musketeers, confronts Jussac and the Cardinal's guards in a Parisian tavern after they harass a woman. During his return home, D'Artagnan saves the woman from attempting to drown herself, but she vanishes and is later found dead. Rochefort and the Cardinal's guards accuse D'Artagnan of murder after finding his hat at the scene. Aramis uncovers a connection to Catherine de Médicis and begins an investigation that leads her back to Francois's castle, where she must confront Pizzaro to protect a dangerous document.
