The "Countermeasures Committee" arc is adapted in the anime. Academies in the city are separated into districts and operate independently. The General Student Council oversees the academies collectively but has been ineffective since the president's unexplained disappearance. Numerous problems have emerged in Kivotos due to the lack of leadership. The General Student Council turns to the Federal Investigation Club, called Schale, for help. Schale is the city's newest club, approved just before the president vanished. The club depends on a Sensei to guide them in addressing the incidents across Kivotos. Students are required to carry personal weapons and smartphones. The story includes elements of military action, love, and friendship within the Academy City.
