An alien force called the Boazan Forces attacks Earth. Five individuals are chosen to pilot the Choudenji Machine Voltes V, the planet's defense against the invaders and their Beast Warriors. As the team, known as the Go Brothers, uncover their family history and the fate of their missing father, they face internal struggles. Their determination to find him leads them to the origin of the conflict. With support from Earth-based and Boazan rebels, they aim to overthrow the ruler Zu Zanbajil and free the Boazan people.
