cocoon: Aru Natsu no Shoujo-tachi Yori

Two female students from Okinawa, San and Mayu, are assigned to care for injured military personnel as the Pacific War nears its end. Alongside other students, they serve as nurses until given orders to sacrifice themselves for the nation. Instead, they and the others who remain flee the area, finding themselves in a once-peaceful tropical setting now transformed into a deadly war zone.
