Cutta-kun Monogatari

A pelican named Katta-kun lives in Tokiwa Park in Ube and is the subject of an anime. The story involves Katta-kun forming a friendship with Sho, a young boy whose parents are working in the Middle East. When conflict erupts there, Sho and Katta-kun journey to the region in an effort to rescue Sho's parents and bring an end to the war.
