Ryusui and Senku argue over which route to take to America. Ryusui desires to use the easier rhumb line that'll take 70 days, while Senku desires to take the more dangerous Great Circle Route that'll take 40 days. Senku wants to arrive in America in time to harvest corn to make revival fluid, knowing if they arrive in winter, they'd have to wait another year. To settle the dispute, Senku and Ryusui decide to play a game of poker where the winner will decide which route to take. Gen joins Ryusui's side, filling Senku with suspicion that they'll cheat, causing Kohaku to join Senku's side and use her sight to keep an eye on Gen. While Kohaku catches Gen numerous times, she and Senku become distracted for a split second, allowing Gen to change Ryusui's hand. Senku counters this and wins with a royal straight flush due to marking his cards with urushiol, which he is allergic to.
