A metal ore rich in energy, known as Gaimetal, was discovered deep underground in 2047, prompting global mining efforts. By 2055, creatures called Gaist, composed entirely of Gaimetal, began appearing and attacking humans. In 2064, individuals including Rekka, Hayato, Kurama, and Siren engage in combat against more than 100 types of Gaist using specialized equipment called Gaist Gear.
