Hamaneko

A collaboration between a cultural center in Hachinohe, Aomori Prefecture, and local creators, this animated project showcases the region's coastal scenery and daily life. Viewed through the perspective of Hamaneko, a girl from the planet Nekoryoshka, and Kabu, a black-tailed gull, the animation uses textile-based visuals to bring the setting to life. The food featured in the story is based on original recipes by local chef Yuuki Miura.
