Three girls—Urara, Hanabi, and Inaho—seek to gain national recognition by producing animated versions of themselves. They have selected the magical girl genre in hopes of appealing to a broad audience spanning children and adults. The question remains whether they can successfully achieve popularity within the structure of a one-cour magical girl anime.
