Mei to Koneko Bus

A young girl named Mei is eating a caramel on a windy day when a whirlwind appears and chases her. The whirlwind is revealed to be a baby cat bus. Mei gives the creature a piece of caramel, and they become friends. Later that night, the baby cat bus returns and allows Mei to ride inside it as it leaps into the sky. They travel to a midnight forest filled with ghosts, where other cat buses of various sizes have gathered. In the forest, Mei encounters something unexpected.
