Natsume encounters a snow-woman youkai during a walk in the first winter snow. The youkai is searching for something she has lost but cannot remember what it is. Anything she touches freezes, yet Natsume chooses to help her in her search. This OVA was released on February 5, 2014, and its Blu-ray and DVD edition includes a sound play from an event titled *SOUND THEATRE x Natsume's Book of Friends*, which took place on September 28.
