Juzo explains to Pepper that she never "owned" Seven, but he had decided to stay with her, and he had asked Juzo to protect her just before his capture. She then offers to tell Juzo the location of his former partner. With the entire incident at the End of War Commemoration Park covered up as a terrorist attack, and Seven in Berühren's possession again, both Olivier and Juzo realize that her superiors are colluding with their real enemy, Berühren.
