Two childhood friends, Musashi and Kojirou, once dreamed of becoming the greatest warriors after hearing stories of demons and those who fought them. As boys, they practiced swordplay and vowed to be the strongest in the world. Over time, Kojirou grows more cynical, while Musashi struggles with the reality that he cannot change centuries of demon rule alone. Labeled a prodigy with a pickaxe, Musashi nearly gives up on his dreams and settles into a life of hard labor. However, he feels a lingering duty to act. The growing injustices around him will soon push him to take action.
