A young girl named Molly, who lost her father to the Unown, accidentally unleashes them, leading to the manifestation of Entei, a legendary Pokémon she believes to be her father. When Molly expresses a desire for a mother, Entei takes Delia, Ash's mother, and makes her Molly's. Ash, Brock, and Misty attempt to rescue Delia and Molly while also trying to prevent the Unown from transforming Greenfield into a strange crystalline wasteland.
