A war in Heaven led to Judas and Luca, two of six selected and powerful Saint Beasts, being exiled to Hell for leading a rebellion. Previously, Heaven had been a peaceful realm where angels lived happily. During this time, Judas, Luca, Goh, Shin, Rey, and Gai were young angels who, on the day of Benediction, were transformed into adults by Zeus. As each of the six adapted to their new adult forms and abilities, they encountered one another and formed new friendships.
