With weapons created from Luxal weapons, Sylpha and the group cut down wave after wave of ghouls until they are confronted by the Neuron Blighted, who can control spinal threads. As that battle rages on, at the church's inner garden, the mysterious priest has Father Harbal by the throat; and Escher, who stumbles upon the scene, finds herself in danger.
