A girl named Mayu discovers a strange camera in the ocean during her vacation. The camera contains film showing a photo of her with an unfamiliar man. The device is of a type that has not yet been created and will not exist for another two years. As a result, Mayu begins experiencing uncontrolled time travel. Separately, a struggling detective takes on a surveillance job involving a man and a young girl. He soon encounters bizarre occurrences, such as airplanes transforming into large carp. Standard investigative techniques prove ineffective as the laws of reality appear to break down.
