Uchuu Senkan Yamato: Aratanaru Tabidachi

In 2201, the Yamato returns after a major conflict with Emperor Zordar and the Comet Empire. Sanada, Aihara, and Shima leave the hospital to honor the crew lost at Okita's memorial, where they meet Tasuke, the son of Tokugawa, who announces his intention to join the crew after completing cadet school. At his graduation, Tasuke causes a boat carrying new cadets to capsize when they become distracted by the Yamato. Launch complications arise when the new engine crew makes errors, stalling the ship before it finally sets out on a planned training mission.
