In the 19th century, a world populated by vampires, golems, werewolves, and other supernatural beings, a character known as Aya Rindo, an immortal figure whose body is missing and who exists as a beautiful head, partners with Tsugaru Shunichi, a half-human, half-demon known as the "Demon Killer," and Shizuku Hasei, her devoted maid. Together, they travel across Europe under the alias "The Cage User," working as a supernatural detective to solve mysteries involving the paranormal.
