Mikami Inaba was engaged in a fight with a student from another school on the rooftop when her friend Haru arrived. Distracted, Mikami was attacked, knocking her and the opponent into nearby rabbit cages and off the roof. During the fall, Mikami grabbed a rabbit, and a pink light emerged. She merged with the animal, developing a second identity named Mimika. Mikami's original form only appears when others threaten her or her friends; otherwise, Mimika is the dominant personality.
