WXIII Kidou Keisatsu Patlabor

An increase in Labor-related incidents in Tokyo Bay prompts detectives Kusumi and Hata to launch an investigation. Their inquiry uncovers government concealment and a conspiracy involving a new bioweapon known as WXIII, or Wasted Thirteen. Hata also uncovers a personal link to the case. To counter the threat, collaboration with the military becomes necessary, culminating in a confrontation between WXIII and the Labors operated by Special Vehicle Division 2. The film serves as a side story occurring between the first and second Patlabor movies.
