BLOOD ALONE

A young vampiress named Misaki forms a close bond with Kurose Kuroe, a former vampire hunter who has become an investigative author. Misaki, who recently turned into a vampire, despises her new nature and the violent instincts it brings. Kuroe, however, remains in danger due to his work, which often involves supernatural threats. To protect him, Misaki must consider turning Kuroe into a vampire, despite her fear of what that entails. The manga was first released as a doujinshi before being serialized in Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh from April 2004 to April 2010. It later moved to Kodansha's Evening magazine, but the series ended abruptly in 2014. The author later completed the story through three additional doujinshi volumes, available in both physical and digital formats.
