Ukishima Shrine is situated in a scenic lakeside town. Kisaragi Saya, a shrine maiden, resides there with her father, Tadayoshi. During the day, she attends Sanbara Academy as a high school student. At night, she battles the Old Ones, supernatural beings with enhanced physical abilities that prey on humans. Saya is the only one capable of defeating them.
