California Monogatari

An 18-year-old high school dropout from San Diego leaves home to seek a new beginning in New York City. During his journey, he meets a troubled teenager named Eve, who becomes attached to him. Initially frustrated by her and her unrealistic views of California, he eventually grows close to her. The two settle in SoHo, where they live among artists and rely on each other while attempting to build a life in the city.
