Mortals who kill a god, either by accident or intent, are cursed with the title "Campione" and inherit the god's power. These individuals are tasked with eliminating false deities that seek to dominate regions. Godou Kusanagi became a Campione after killing the Persian god Verethragna and gained the abilities of the god's ten forms. This power has brought him trouble, as being a god-killer is a dangerous and difficult role. Three women with strong magical and religious backgrounds have taken an interest in helping him fight. However, their true intentions remain unclear. One of them, Erica Brandelli, leads the group and is involved in these unusual circumstances.
