Embryo

A high school student named Mera Eriko is bitten by an unusual insect while in the forest, which implants an embryo at the back of her neck, attempting to use her as a host. Soon after, she gains the ability to communicate with insects. While studying in the library, she is attacked by the librarian. She calls for help, and the insects swarm and kill the attacker. Police arrive and interrogate Mera. Over time, the insects start to spread to other students.
