Bazett Fraga McRemitz, a mage and participant in the 5th Holy Grail War, awakens on the fourth day with a new servant, Avenger, and no recollection of prior events. She and Avenger aim to win the war. Meanwhile, Shirou Emiya lives peacefully with his friends. After an experiment alters time and space, Rin Tohsaka departs for the Mages' Association in England to correct it. Servants detect a new threat as dark creatures emerge. Shirou investigates to ensure safety and encounters a mysterious girl named Caren Ortensia. Bazett and Shirou become trapped in a four-day time loop, starting from the fourth day of the war. Each cycle, they awaken on the first day with memory of previous loops. They work together to uncover the cause of the endless cycle.
