Gokukoku no Brynhildr

As a child, Murakami was fascinated by a girl he referred to as Kuroneko, who claimed to have encountered aliens. Though others dismissed her claims, including Murakami himself, she once attempted to prove it to him, resulting in a tragic accident that left her dead and Murakami hospitalized. Over time, Murakami becomes fixated on finding evidence of extraterrestrial life, driven by a promise made to Kuroneko. A new student, Kurohaneko, joins his class, bearing a strong resemblance to Kuroneko and claiming no prior acquaintance with him. Despite her denial, she displays extraordinary abilities, including immense strength and what appears to be the power of foresight. Murakami's life begins to shift dramatically after being aided by this enigmatic girl, who identifies herself as a magician.
