Golden Time

Tada Banri, a new student at a Tokyo law school, gets lost after the opening ceremony and meets another freshman, Yanagisawa Mitsuo, who is also lost. They connect quickly and manage to reach the orientation on time. There, a strikingly attractive woman appears, hits Mitsuo with a bouquet of roses, and gives them to him, saying, "Freshman, congratulations," before leaving. The woman is Kouko Kaga, Mitsuo's childhood friend and former childhood promise to marry. Mitsuo had secretly taken the entrance exam for the school to avoid her, but she had also taken the exam and ended up in the same orientation.
