Shuichi is a young, enthusiastic aspiring rock musician who is part of a band with his best friend and dreams of chart success. After a novelist named Eiri Yuki harshly critiques his lyrics, Shuichi becomes determined to prove him wrong, leading to a close encounter. As he spends time with Yuki, he develops strong feelings for him. Yuki, though outwardly aloof and difficult, appears to reciprocate. However, Yuki's troubled past remains a barrier, and Shuichi begins to realize that his music career may come at a personal cost. The two men must navigate their differences and emotional challenges to determine if their connection can endure.
