A compilation of short stories. In one, a girl's boyfriend ends their relationship at the close of summer, and she begins to grieve after he leaves. A kind and composed boy named Jun notices her distress, offers her chocolate, and they later find out they attend the same school. In another, a popular womanizer loses a bet and is forced to ask a reclusive classmate, known for her preference for horror books and withdrawn nature, to be his girlfriend. He is not worried about rejection but is unsettled by her somber presence.
