Ancient jewels contain the spirits of Chinese heroes from the Three Kingdoms era who failed to unify the country. These artifacts, now scattered across Japan, grant their inheritors the ability to unlock their full potential. However, those who possess them, known as Toushi, develop an intense craving for combat. Hakufu Sonsaku is a Toushi who lives in the countryside, her violent urges unmet until her mother sends her to Tokyo. There, she begins training alongside other Toushi and begins moving toward her fate.
