Kakunaru Ue wa

A high school student named Uehara Yuuki writes a romantic comedy manga featuring a shy, naive heroine. After his work is criticized by an editor for being unoriginal and unrealistic, he becomes depressed and meets Miyamoto Niina, a classmate who also aspires to be a manga artist. Miyamoto has faced similar rejection and suggests they pretend to be a couple to gain authentic experience for their stories. Neither has any real romantic experience, and their dynamic does not match the characters they've created. As their fake relationship progresses, they face comedic challenges that test their ability to improve their manga and navigate their unexpected partnership.
