Kino no Tabi: the Beautiful World

A traveler journeys alongside a sentient motorcycle named Hermes, exploring different lands for brief periods. The traveler speaks little and often hesitates before answering questions. The pair maintains a strict rule of remaining in any one place for no more than three days, observing local customs and people before moving on. The traveler occasionally glances behind, toward a distant homeland, but quickly refocuses on the road ahead. The story includes four additional chapters.
