Serina finds her desk defaced with the lyrics of a love song, which were scratched in by Mizukawa-sempai, a first-year student who is one grade above her. Initially, she is interested in getting to know him, but his cold attitude makes her doubt her chances. However, his behavior suggests he is more awkward than cruel, and before long, she ends up asking him out. As time goes on, her feelings for him seem to grow stronger.
