Maou Dante

A powerful demon named Dante awakens after a thousand years of slumber by influencing a boy through his dreams. This demon, a remnant of an ancient lost civilization, seeks to destroy all humanity. However, his intentions are not entirely evil, and his goals intertwine with the boy's life, which is caught between nightmares and madness. Meanwhile, a satanist challenges the church's authority in pursuit of the demon's version of justice. The original series was left unfinished until a 2002 remake, and some elements from it were later used in Devilman by Nagai.
