In a world where conflict between humans and demons has faded into history, roles such as Heroes, Demon Kings, and adventurers have become entertainment rather than life-threatening professions. Dungeon exploration is now a spectacle, with participants using magical clones to fight without risk. A Black Sorcerer, once part of a top-four Hero party, was dismissed due to the position's lack of popularity. Struggling to find a new team, he accepts an offer from a mysterious woman with striking red eyes and blonde hair. Without learning the specifics, he travels to the most dangerous dungeon, the Demon King Castle, where the Demon King and the Big Four await. There, the Black Sorcerer joins the Demon King's forces to confront the incoming Hero parties.
