A woman in her thirties, once an office worker, remembers her past life from childhood, when her half-sister mentioned they were from an otome game. In that game, the half-sister was the heroine, and she was the villainess noble girl who mistreated her, with the story always ending in her suicide. However, the current world differs from the game's setting. Believing she can save her mother, who in the game committed suicide, she works to protect her mother and her cousin, the main character, from the half-sister’s harmful influence.
