Gene Starwind and Jim Hawking operate a small business on Centinel 3 until Hilda hires them as bodyguards, drawing them into a complex situation involving criminals, law enforcement, an alien, and an assassin. They acquire the Outlaw Star, a highly advanced spaceship, which becomes both an asset and a liability as its original owners seek its return. With Jim and Melfina, Gene navigates challenges across the galaxy, facing pirates, aliens, and assassins while uncovering the ship's mysteries. The manga, which was published in magazines, went on hiatus in January 1999, with no further updates.
