Individuals known as the Lost Ones originate from a mysterious land called Japan, unknown to others. Historically linked to disasters, they are targeted for elimination by an Executioner named Menou, who carries out her task without hesitation. Her assignment becomes complicated when Akari, a Japanese girl, refuses to be killed. This leads Menou on an unusual quest to discover a means of killing an immortal being who insists on accompanying her.
