Five hundred years after humans were wiped out by the "Beasts," the remaining races live on floating islands above a dangerous world. These creatures continue to pose a deadly threat. A select group of young girls, known as the Leprechauns, are the only ones capable of using ancient weapons to fight them. Their lives are marked by uncertainty and the constant risk of being called into battle. A young man, the last surviving human, emerges among them. He had lost everything five hundred years earlier and has just awoken from a long period of frozen sleep.
