Ryou has struggled with his feminine looks since childhood, often being mistaken for a girl even after entering high school. To address this, he decides to pursue a career as a male idol. With help from his cousin Ritsuko, who works in the idol industry, he gets an audition. However, the company sees potential in him as a female idol instead. To achieve his goal of becoming a male idol, Ryou must first succeed in the role they assigned him.
