Tobacco-chan

Asano is a worker who struggles to stop smoking. Tabako-chan represents the smoke from a cigarette, with her outfit gradually disappearing as the cigarette nears its end. Her presence lingers like the scent of smoke. Other characters include Menko-chan, representing menthol cigarettes, and the Golden Bat, introduced in 1906. Each is a personified cigarette in the form of a young woman.
